New Year Musings

New Year Musings

January 11, 2021January 11, 2021 Posted in Life2 Comments

A lot of other people I follow on Instagram seem to share the same sentiment as me, but social media increasingly feels like a black hole. I’ve seen people take the weekends off, delete the app and have to re-download to limit mindless scrolling, turn on airplane mode when working, etc. I took this past… Continue reading New Year Musings

On Soft Love

It feels like everyone is going through it right now. Normalcy has been tossed out the window and each day is spent grasping at strands to weave it together again. There has been so much change, monumental change, in such a short amount of time – yet somehow, change still isn’t coming quick enough. The… Continue reading On Soft Love

Practicing Consistency

August 11, 2020 Posted in Life2 Comments

I am trying to be more intentional with the routines I implement in my life, because consistency has always been something I’ve struggled to follow.

Alright, I made that very trendy #tiktokpasta and I must say... ‘twas delicious 🤌🏼
Kiss Kiss Cocktail is live on the blog 💋💋 “Accidentally” drank the cocktail I made for photos, so it has a silly name 🤷🏼‍♀️
Wrote a wee blog post about my newest life update: I GOT A JOB! 🎉 Here are a couple pics from my first day: big smiles, cuddly co-worker, precarious WFH sitch. I am so grateful and lucky and excited and privileged to have this opportunity.
Color me influenced because I saw @thehappyfig’s Turkish Eggs & walked right into the kitchen to make myself a bowl 🤣 It might not look like much, but all the magic is under those kale chips 👏🏼 Swipe for the deliciously messy goods
Tuna toasties for lunch 🌱
I’ve never been a fan of stereotypical salads, but give me a warm salad and I’m your girl.
I made @andybaraghani’s Vegetarian Ramen last week and my mouth just salivated typing that. It was my first time cooking with bok choy and now I’m totally hooked on it. I read through the recipe’s comments and decided to add miso paste to the base and now I am also hooked on miso. Basically, this recipe is a gateway drug to deliciousness because I am HOOKED. Ba dum tsss 🎉
My new go-to comfort food is also packed with all the winter veg, so I’m double here for it.
